Today I’ve written about my 3rd great grandparents, George Marriott Sr and Jane Williams. George’s parents were both born in England, George could have been born there too, it has been difficult trying to locate his birth certificate, however somewhere on Ancestry it is stated he was born in Natal South Africa? He could have just been born in Victoria, Australia?Again, I’m unable to confirm this. The year of George’s birth being approximately 1852. Jane’s parents were also both born in England, however Jane was born on the 14th of July 1852 in Collingwood, Victoria, Australia.
George and Jane got married in 1873 in Victoria, Australia. George worked as a plasterer.
